415 Remodeling did 2 projects for us! One, building out a beautiful master bathroom & closet. Two, expanding our guest bathroom to include a bathtub/shower.

Pros: Extremely communicative - Bill/Hayley/Durhan most often got back to us either immediately, or within a day or two of reaching out (depending on the situation). Design process - From checking out the space, proposing options, giving us schematics to choose from and reference, picking tiles/fixtures/paint colors etc. that followed from our design ethics to, ultimately, a gorgeous outcome, we were so glad that we had experts helping us with our project. Doing the work - The crew that 415 sent over was extremely diligent about protecting our floors, cleaning up the space each day, and overall, being productive. It was so fun to check out the site each day and see what had been accomplished and watch our unused spaces transform into a lovely set of bathrooms. Making things right - When I found a few items that were defective, 415 made sure to fix them (scratched toilet seat, broken mirror, broken shower glass corner, tub faucet). There was also a freak rainstorm that ended up flooding our bathroom and recently laid carpet that they split the difference with us on remediating, which was really great. And, though they had to shut down due to Covid for quite a few months, when they came back, they implemented a strict sanitization protocol that made us feel very comfortable with their team continuing to work and finish the project.

Con: My only comment here is that ultimately, we ended up spending quite a bit more than we had originally wanted to. We were quoted $120K, and it ended up being $150K! Crazy, right?

Those things being said, we are thrilled with the outcomes of our projects and couldn't imagine being able to do them otherwise. 415 was a great team to partner with.

We first contracted 415 Remodeling in 2017 to renovate a bathroom and a kitchen in our 1920s apartment, and we couldn't be happier with the results! The project turned out beautifully—from the stunning new countertops to the large-format tile that gives our kitchen and bathrooms a fresh, modern look built to age gracefully. One of my favorite details was Hayley’s work on our pantry, where she made my vision of orange shelves come to life—just the right pop of color while staying cohesive with the kitchen.

Bill, Hayley, and the team were incredibly responsive throughout the project, keeping us informed and ensuring we understood the full scope while addressing any questions we had. Seven years later, the spaces have aged wonderfully, and we are thrilled about the opportunity to work with them again on another project. This team truly stands out—they’re attentive, they care about the details, and they’re transparent every step of the way. Highly recommend!

They’ve completed several bathroom remodels in our historic San Francisco home, a kitchen reface, and other odds and ends. We even trusted them with our daughter’s home for her kitchen and exterior refacing. Bill and Hayley always know exactly what we need and make the design process so much easier. Their team of craftsmen and trusted subcontractors consistently produce beautiful, high-quality work, updating our home while maintaining its historic charm and cohesiveness. They are also a team of just good people. Bill even came over once on the weekend to help us with a toilet that was spouting water all over! I couldn't recommend this company more!

We had a really good experience with 415 remodeling on a recent new bathroom addition in our 100 year old plus Victorian condo in the Mission. Their attention to detail was terrific-they were very professional and we enjoyed working with them-especially Bill Johnson and Haley Alexander. A lot of things about our project were tricky but this team didn’t miss a beat. We would definitely recommend 415 for residential remodeling.
