Worse military housing we've ever lived in over the past 16 years, as far as community managers taking care of issues they either can't handle the work load or they just don't care not sure. MPs don't care about people speeding or vandalizing property if they don't see it happen they won't do anything. Little kids run wild in the streets, parents accept zero responsibility for their hoodlums, kids terrorizing the neighborhood throwing glass, eggs at mailboxes and in parking lots, throwing objects at people's pets, cutting off breaker boxes in the middle of the night (we locked ours). Pets also roaming the neighborhood. Do not reccomend the La Noria neighborhood, especially if you have small kids try to get on East Bliss housing.

Do not use them! The worst and most conniving housing I've ever had to deal with out of three different bases. I am moving out and was told I wouldn't be charge for the floor due to them realizing it's bad quality and rips just by walking on it. They also told me they wouldn't be taking my BAH the 1st of the next month. After the pre inspection they send me an email saying I'm going to have to pay $2500 at move out. This being the next month BAH and $600 for 9 days short of a 30 day notice.

I've always had amazing service from maintenance. Always courteous, professional and knowledgeable.
Jose Martinez was recently at my residence and he couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. All of the technicians who have been here have gone above and beyond. Jose, Robert, and Cruz are invaluable to the company.

Live ANYWHERE ELSE.
It’s been a week since move in and so far we’ve been told our house is hot because our vents aren’t built for the refrigerated air. So the bedrooms are 80 degrees and they haven’t gotten back to us about a fix. Then we had outlets in our kitchen blow from using a MICROWAVE . Which killed power to our refrigerator, they plugged it into another outlet in the kitchen and told us on Friday see you Monday šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø the technicians have no answers for us at all basically, and since plugging the microwave into another outlet WEVE LOST ALL POWER TO OUR LIVING ROOM AND LIGHTS/FANS now. Outlets SHOULD NOT BE BLOWING LIKE THIS. Other outlets through the rooms aren’t grounded either.
Garbage disposal workers are lazy and won’t get out of the truck. Anything outside trash can won’t be picked up and overly full trash cans will be entirely ignored even if they’re placed properly in the street for the truck to grab.
Technicians come in and leave in a hurry and the problems just keeps getting drawn out.
ive ALSO had issues with bugs. Roaches ever since we’ve moved in. We found dead ones in the house on move in day and were told they sprayed and treated the house but now I’m honestly thinking that was false as well.
Things short out so much I’m worried about losing my electronics , or the threat of maybe an ELECTRICAL FIRE. This housing isn’t safe and they don’t give a sht.

You also won’t get a mail key for two weeks. We were told we can get it last Thursday. It’s now Monday and now they’re saying MAYBE this Thursday. What a freaking joke.

The houses look dirty and the tiles are stained, they’ve painted over damages and stains on the walls as well as vents and their handles so you can’t even adjust the air flow. There’s so much more I can’t even express at this point how much I wish we hadn’t given this housing the benefit of the doubt. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Update 4 months later

After weeks of battling and trying to get them to look inside the vents and figure out why there’s basically zero air flow to ANY of my bedrooms like the first technicians said, they instead replaced the entire furnace. And now it’s been cold for a few weeks and I go to turn on my heat and lo and behold, it doesn’t even turn on.

I swear these guys hire anyone who walks in and says they’ve got experience without even checking if they do.

Hot water lasts 5 minutes tops so if you like to take longer showers or ever take baths , you won’t get that bit of relaxation here either.

And the different parts of the maintenance department don’t even communicate, the amount of calls you get from both to figure out what has been done to your house and what hasn’t is ridiculous. They also have their technicians appearing at your house out of NOWHERE on days there’s been no communication as late as 10pm, during the week.

I am writing this review with only about two months of experience living in the on-base Balfour Beatty Community Homes that is North Main Post homes on Fort Bliss. Never in the 16yrs that I've been in the military living on-base in multiple locations have I experienced such terrible living conditions, service, etc. My wife and I pride ourselves in maintaining a clean environment no matter the condition of the home. For there to be an infestation at every turn from the bathroom tub (in and around), to my 9 month old daughter's bedroom (to include in her sheets), to cabinets with clean dishes, the master bedroom and bathroom. Luckily for our sake it isn't cockroaches its ants but they are in the mid to high double digit numbers in every scenario. They seem to have nests in bedded in the walls which me spraying insecticide daily doesn't seem to help. You get the maintenance history and wonder what the pest control is for thinking it's just routine and find out there's always an ant invasion. Not to mention after leaving our trash can out for not even a full week it was stolen and cant seem to be replaced due to a "shortage" of trash bins. We've had issues with our dish washer since the first day of moving into the house and there has been no update or status of any sort on a timeline or ETA of a new one. Today there was quick a bit of rain and drops coming through from a non-functioning AC vent that blows zero air through during these 90° plus days. You can also hear what seems to be a leak in the roof which im certain pr3vious renters mentioned that havent been fixed. Maintenance seems to only care about quick resolution issues that aren't time consuming. The house air conditioning unit or duct system seems to only work in certain areas of the house which has basically every room outside the one bedroom feeling like it's 100°+ daily especially the kitchen, living room and dining room. The photos that follow are the first and smallest incident we've encountered in our short tenure living in the Bliss Housing. HOW does the Army care for Soldiers and their families and allow this sort of living. These old houses need to be torn down but as long as there aren't complaints to the Post command things will never change in these communities. Seems as though some people love to live in this poverty. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend living in these terrible living quarters on Bliss. Maybe some of the other housing is in better condition.

Well I have to say... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE choose something else that is not military housing! This is the 3rd time I've lived in military housing. By far the worst! Fort Irwin was better and hell... even Fort Johnson (aka Polk) was better and that place to considered the aole of the Army! Iused to think Fort Bliss Housing was pretty decent. Not sure what the hell has changed since I've been here but it's gotten worse. When you call maintenance they will tell you it's elevated to an urgent request. Someone should call you promptly. Had to call them back after a few hours only to find out that it's more of an inconvenience to the supervisor on shift and that the issue will be taken care of "at a later time." If you are reading this, do yourself a favor. Find something that is not involved in military housing. This company doesn't care. You will save yourself a ton of headaches and frustration. Let my mistakes guide you to a better situation!

First let me start at the ending of our stay. We had two inspections, the initial inspection showed us what had to be cleaned and fixed, and we thought that we'd done the things pointed out to us. The second inspection was done by a different person that saw different things, and those things, not pointed out to us is what we were eventually charged for. Now let's see what my family and I were charged for. Dog feces, my wife and and I roamed that back yard for a better part of an hour, after cutting it, a back yard that my children, were not able to play on because of the amount of thorns in the grass and dirt. We missed 4-5 pieces of feces, from a dog that stands a foot tall, and got charged $150.00, with no opportunity to clean what we missed. As I said before, the first inspector pointed out a stain from a washable marker that my 5 year old autistic daughter made on the wall, we cleaned it, but the second inspector found another one we missed, we were charged $99.00 for not removing a washable marker stain. If given the chance I'm sure all it would've taken was a quick wipe, but we didn't get the opportunity. Lastly, a toilet paper holder, $35.00, unbelievable. For what we had to put up with during our stay, having to wait weeks or months in order to receive repairs. Having to buy a lawnmower to cut a unusable back yard. To have something repaired and for it to break a short time after. Our stay was not pleasant, it was frustrating, at the end of it,to be fleeced of our money. Please do better for military families, we sacrifice a lot, and to have this experience only adds more stress and hardship. please think twice before your go through this stressful experience. When you charge a service member $280.00 for minor repairs, that shows how much they care about the families they serve. As can be seen by the majority of the reviews, this is not a pleasant place to live, something I pray we won't have to do again.

Horrible service. Maintenance hardly fixes anything, and when they do, it is the cheapest repair job available. Constantly mixing up what they do/do not allow. Pools were allowed, now there not, (IT's 110 Degrees and NO BACKYARD POOL?) Trampolines weren't allowed, now they are. Quick to give letters of warning involving chain of commands. No hanging decorations from structures, like X-MAS or Halloween. Karen's from the housing office stuffing their nose into what they don't like or agree with! This is the WORST housing I have been in.
