My husband went in to get a rope for a power washer and another hose for it too. But a girl that works there was very rude to him all because he had parked the truck behind the pine straw truck. I was in the truck if it needed to be moved should someone need pine straw. He said he couldn't find anyone to help him while he was there shopping. She told him she was busy and followed him all the way to the door just complaining. We went to Tractor supply and got what we needed.

I am exhausted with this situation. I special ordered a door August 31 and was told it would be delivered to the store in 2 weeks. No problem. Three weeks later I called to check and was told something had gone wrong and the door had not been delivered. Now to wait another 2 weeks. Threes weeks passed and still no call. I went to the store and spoke with the store manager who said he would check and call me back with an definitive answer., I’m still waiting for that call. When I called back, a week later, I was told the door was ordered but was not acknowledged by the manufacturer. Marvin’s has been paid and it is now November. I have been in this store many times, in the past and always enjoyed my shopping experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I manage rental properties and shop here often If the manager can’t help who can. I have been waiting for 2 months I’m exhausted and frustrated and still have no door.

The customer service is great. They dont know the products they are selling. Had to return three times exchanging products The Employees need to have a little knowledge or training in the department's they work in.

Assistance was completely absent. I asked for help loading 30 bags of soil and mulch with no help whatsoever. Staff looked at me and walked away quickly. Really, really bad customer service! Not sure I will return or ever advise others to buy from this store. Very bad!!!

Marvin's is very well laid out, open aisles, well lit, clean, and exceptionally friendly staff. Easy to find everything, and had good stock of most everything.
Update; 03/30/22- supply chain still has them low supply on caulk and Silicone.. no galvanized pipe for gas or propane, but still good on most other items; such as saw blades and deck screws.. will be back this weekend for more framing lumber..
06/29- store is still very clean, however, certain items in plumbing, such as pvc and shark bite, and caulk and Silicone can be hard to find again, as supply chain.. prices are about par worth current inflation..
09/29- older gentleman; even though heading out the door for lunch, stopped and helped me find the right part.. always a pleasure to shop here for lumber and hardware; just ashame so far north into M-ville, as I am always coming up from Uriah.
But thanks Marvin's, and retired electrician.
12.01, slightly better stocked lumber yard now.( Glad railroad is not striking) more help also in yard. Had help loading lumber; was quick visit, thanks.
03/07/23- pricing on par with other lumber yards in area. Good on stock, easy to find most all products without assistance..
01/15/24- got my L brackets for shelf project, and my all thread for my muffler project, but no steel wool; so, of to Wal-Mart.. still, very easy shopping, not a huge crowd..

Just got back. Man I am disappointed. Walked in store, a man walked up and said may I help you, we said yes, we need a door, a shower stall, some screws and a few other things. Said we wanted to go to look at doors first. Turned and went to the doors, looked back and he was no where in site! We stayed in the store for almost 30 minutes. Went up front and asked for someone to assist. They didn't even call anyone. Well, I guess you lost alot of my business. We live in a rural area and this us the closest place for us, but you can bet your bottom dollar we won't be back. Thank you!

Very horrible customer service!!! My mother been taking her business there for years and even referred others. No More!!! She purchased a lawn mower there, still under warranty, been having issues, kept going back and they kept referring her to other places to take it. It's still having issues, which has gotten to a point where it needs to cease!!! Replace it or something, don't keep giving nobody the run-around. She paid out of pocket at the last place Marvin's sent her to, and it's still not working properly! Then, you had the nerves to have her on hold for 45 minutes, to which she just finally hung up the phone! WHO DOES THAT This matter needs to be resolved immediately! Will be reporting to every avenue possible, including the BBB!
