Another unethical property management company stooping to low levels of filtering companies by demanding hard pull personal credit checks for reputable businesses who have(P&L's, legers, bank statements, merchant processing statements, previous lease references, etc.). If you are a principle to a business, !!DO NOT!!, use your personal credit for your business. This is an extremely irresponsible way of managing your PERSONAL credit. Your personal credit shouldn't be affected because your company takes a turn for the worse due to market conditions etc. After two years your company has it's own credit via your bank. Here's the problem, 1 Unit, 6 well qualified competing applicants, only 1 person can get the unit, so 5 people have now thrown away 3 points of their credit score for absolutely nothing. In the US we have the ability to create legal entitles so that our personal lives and well being aren't held accountable. This is a new trend amongst property management companies and I don't know how this is legal. It's a huge shame that companies like this company enable property owners to use these unethical practices on unsuspecting potential tenants.
