We are very happy with the work Advantage has done for us. We had some grading and drainage issues at our property and Gerry the owner has been helpful on the two occasions he has done jobs for us. He responds quickly and is helpful and informative in giving a quote and presenting different solutions. Prices are affordable and reasonable. In the recent job they did for us they worked on our septic system by putting risers on the tank and making it more accessible. They also did some grading to help our drainage issue and put in drains on the side of our house so it doesn't puddle so much. The crew was great, on time, friendly and experienced - knew exactly what they were doing. Advantage is an honest company that does high quality work, I highly recommend them.

My wife and I live in Fallbrook and our house sits on a ridge with a steep hillside to the rear of the property. In February 2017 we experienced a burst water pipe in the rear garden which, combined with the heavy rains experienced in Fallbrook this winter, led to severe slippage of land down the hillside.

Gerry and Vince were very responsive to our predicament and quickly provided us with a detailed statement of the work and cost required to repair the damage. Gerry worked with our insurance assessor to make sure that we would be reimbursed for the damage, and the insurance assessor told me that he was surprised at how reasonable Gerry's price was. Gerry also recommended that we should hire a soil inspector to monitor progress and issue a final report that we can present to a buyer when we sell the property. The insurance company agreed with him and were willing to fund this report.

This project required heavy equipment and took several weeks to complete. At all times Gerry kept us fully informed of the plan and status of the work, and was very responsive to our questions and needs.

We are very happy with the finished product with regards to both quality and timeliness. There is no doubt in my mind that Advantage Grading & Engineering are a first class contractor with high professional standards and high integrity. Highly recommended.

Gerry and his team did a great job building a retaining wall, grading out my RV driveway, grading out a pad for my chicken coop, laying out mulch on the slopes, and providing electric and water conduits to the RV gate, driveway, and chicken coop area.

Gerry was very easy to work with, honest, and provided great advice in the planning and completion of my project. He came by the house on a regular basis to make sure that everything was being done according to plan.

Vince, who was the foreman of the project always arrived early and kept the team working diligently to finish the project. He was always willing to take time out to explain what was happening as I had questions or concerns. He was always professional and courteous.

I am planning a 2nd phase project and I look forward to working with Gerry and his team once again later this year.

Horrible nightmare experience with Advantage grading. After not adhering to the soils report, destabilizing the hillside, creating a landslide and attempting to charge for the slow repair----a lien we believe is fabricated and fraudulent was placed on our property!
Be prepared for "I did not bid for that."
We were billed for items that were never done. We believe they are liars.
Recently I met another person who encountered surprise billing also. We feel taken Advantage of. Avoid them
