I love Fred Myers. They always have what I need and it's always easy to find. The staff is always amazing and usually know exactly where things are at.
Every store has its pros and cons but for Brookings. This store has always been amazing.

Floor associates are super helpful And well, educated on the floor plan in the grocery department. Looks like bathroom got redone. Also, you can no longer use EBT at Starbucks...which I think actually took effect a year go.

Great store but the apparel department is a scam every time. They don't honor posted sale prices and the manager upstairs is actually useless.

Pro-tip: take pictures of your clothes tags next to the posted price as you shop and anticipate the need to defend THEIR prices against THEM. I've had to do this multiple times and they still only concede and charge you correctly about half the time. Yes, seriously.

It's not enough that they have an effective monopoly on general clothing in this town, they feel the need to scam you as well. Be careful!

Come by, for Freddie's outrageously High Prices, Awful sushi, & Questionable Employees!
Elevators are always "Under maintenance", Sushi is always nasty and NOT FRESH,
Prices are always way more than they should be. Meh, I only come here when there's a sale.
