Daniel Fraiman Construction (DFC) remodeled our home in 2020/2021. The craftsmanship was extremely poor and Daniel Fraiman refused to take responsibility for the work done by his crew and subcontractors. We ultimately fired Fraiman from our job and brought in a new contractor to fix the mess that DFC left us. However, upon inspection of our home, we discovered that we had a bigger and much more expensive problem on our hands as it became evident that DFC completed much of the structural work "not up to county code." It's as if all of the shoddy craftsmanship DFC performed wasn't enough, our home is now structurally unsound and potentially dangerous. Click the photo icon at the bottom to see photos of DFC's work. I very rarely write a bad review but Daniel Fraiman Construction requires me to do so. I bought my townhouse in June of 2021. Throughout the construction process his team was very uncommunicative. They rarely updated me on the progress of completion. I ended up having to couch surf for a month, with my dog, before I finally was given the notice of completion to move in. Since then I've had a couple of things, punch list type items, that needed to be fixed. He rarely responds to emails. I've had to email him or his team many times to get a response. He didn't take responsibility for some of the items that needed to be fixed.The fireplace logs were improperly installed leaving soot on the outside of my home. While the fireplace has been fixed after one year of multiple emails, he refuses to take care of the soot on the outside of the house! I don't have a 10' ladder to do it myself. It's seriously a simple task. The bathtub and toilet were grouted, not caulked. I had to contact the project manager to get this item fixed. The kitchen counter is grouted but should be caulked. This is something I will have to pay to get done in the future. He'll never fix this!
I would never use him or his company ever again. I would imagine he might be more responsive if I purchased or built a multi million dollar home.
