Last month we used this company to repair a leak on our water tank. Although they did a good job with the repair, after receiving the bill, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Without disclosing to us prior to the repair, they charged us $150 for the 10 minute service call to inspect the problem. We are located in San Miguel, close to their office, so they didn't even have to travel far.
This was charged in addition to $262.50 charged for the 1.5 hours of labor for the repair. Keep in mind that an estimate was never provided prior to doing the work. When I asked for an estimate I was told that they don't provide one and that I'll get billed after the repair is completed.
Needless to say, we were taken back by the $497 bill we received.

In addition, when I called the office to discuss my concerns will the bill the woman who answered the phone was very rude. After discussing it with the owner she called back to us know that they would reduce the service call fee to $75 and rebill us.
As much as I appreciate that, I still feel we were overcharged for the repair and will not be doing business with them again. It's too bad because they really did good work.

These guys take excellent care of me, and other locals I have talked to. They get here as promised, fix the problem right the first time, and then they are on their way. The charges are reasonable. The Awalt family is actively involved in the business...that is a big plus.
