My husband and I hired Pelayo Construction for a large scale remodel which included renovating sections of our existing home, converting part into an ADU, as well as constructing a large concrete parking platform on our sloped property. We can’t say enough regarding how pleased we are with the work completed. Every step of the project has been done with attention to detail and Mark has incredible craftsmanship skill. We worked with Mark at Pelayo Construction for more than a year to build a 2,200 sqft fire-resistant residence in rural Placer County. The initial design was quoted by several contractors who all delivered quotes within a few percent of each other but were all twice what we could afford. Only Mark provided a detailed quote that we were able to use for a complete redesign. Mark worked with us and our designer as a partner to incorporate different materials and different building techniques to cut the cost of the project dramatically. Mark executed the construction of the house flawlessly and on budget, always helpful and communicative. We couldn’t be happier.
