David is a civil/structural engineer that listens to what I want, and then lays out what he believes to be the most cost effective approach to achieve my objectives. When I inquire about default material parameters, deflection/creep limits, seismic, etc., David describes his standard (code compliant) procedures/assumptions and then is genuinely open to using alternate (more restrictive) material parameters and/or deflection/creep limits to achieve my desired objectives… all the while appraising me through thoughtful discussion of those action’s consequences/costs. Put another way, David’s knowledge depth & confidence begets his flexibility to not force-fit my project to the way he always does it. Lastly, David delivers on our mutually agreed approach in the timeline to which we initially agreed. It is truly a pleasure to work with David.
