In 2019, I hired G & S Construction (with owner and general contractor Mike Graves) to replace my wooden dock, ramp and canvas based dock cover with aluminum framed versions topped with plastic decking for my Discovery Bay home.

G & S construction did an outstanding job with exceptional quality and exceeded my expectations with regards to communication, attention to detail, and follow thru. In addition he offered many key suggestions that significantly improved the performance, functionality, safety and appearance of the finished project. He met his contracted bid price.

I can highly recommend G & S Construction and would not hesitate to hire Mike Graves and his team again. (In fact, I have already hired them again for my next construction project.)

Discovery Bay, CA Our community is hitting the 40 year old mark. Our 40 year old deck was overdue for replacement. G & S Construction was quick to respond to our needs. They came out as promised to survey our property and to reassure us that it was time to do a total take down and start fresh with our new deck oasis. Wow what a difference Mike Graves and his crew did. The quality of their workmanship was way beyond our dreams. We will fill so comfortable entertaining now that our deck is safe for our family and friends. If your property is in need of deck or dock repairs I would look no further than G & S Construction out of Oakley, CA. Work with a local family owned Contractor that is on the job daily to supervise and view all stages of the construction process. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our entire construction was completed within their initial estimate of time and it was done way above our expectation. Thank you Mike Graves and his team. G & S Construction is really worth hiring for you projects.
