I had a bad experience with Top Notch. They did not show up for an appointment (which I had confirmed the night before) to estimate a fence job. I called again, and then they showed up. Afterward I got a brief email saying they would not do the job. I followed up wanting to know why. No response. They wasted a lot of my time. I found Top Notch to be unprofessional.

We used the building services of BTNCI for our pergola and some fence work, we were very pleased with the work performed.

Justin was very professional and we appreciated his attention to detail. While our project was smaller than most of the projects he works his magic on, he delivered in every way with the integrity and enthusiasm you woud hope to receive.

My husband and I own and live in a duplex in Oakland. We were referred to Justin after mentioning to our contractor we wanted to construct and install new windows in various parts of our downstairs unit. We scheduled with Justin for an estimate and were elated that we found someone who could do the work at a fair cost. We could not find someone to construct a new window for years, so this was a boon.
Throughout the entire process, Justin was communicative, thorough, and efficient. He explained construction every step of the way and all the parts that go along with installing a new window and replacing any siding suffering from dry rot. My husband and I work from home, so Justin was also incredibly patient with us – especially when we came down with Covid and went overseas, bringing construction to a halt!
We now have a newly constructed window in our front room and bedroom and two larger windows in our office. We are so happy with Justin’s work and are incredibly grateful. We highly recommend him and hope to see him again for future work on the West side of our property.
