I have been a real estate broker for over 40 years and worked with many contractors, residential and commercial. I have never before taken the time to write a review as all have strengths and weaknesses, but none were really exceptional. Until I met Michael Wolff. My client was elderly and overwhelmed by many serious problems that, over time, had made his property uninhabitable. He found himself with no clear options and nowhere to go. I talked to many contractors who were not really interested in the project, as it involved too many unknowns that building off of plans doesn’t have! That’s when I found out that Michael Wolff and his amazing team had something better than blueprints. They were motivated by a genuine concern for the property owner’s situation and not just profits. I could give examples of how, through the process, Michael’s experience provided creative, budget friendly solutions to hidden defects, bad weather and the worst budget eating inflation in years. Instead, I’ll just observe that sometimes good intentions look better on paper than in reality. And sometimes they look like what one can only call answered prayer! We lost our home in the Walbridge Fire in 2020. We did extensive research on debris removal contractors after hearing stories from Tubbs Fire survivors. Fortunately, we were referred to Wolff Contracting. Michael met with us several times to understand our concerns and explain the process they would undertake to access the property and comply with our environmental concerns. The entire crew understood our concerns, showed respect for our property and land and were professional and compassionate. We were delighted with the results of the professional cleanup which was completed on time and on budget. The property was pristine when they finished. We highly recommend Wolff Contracting. Wolff Contracting is THE best company for any demolition work. We contracted with them for our pool demolition. From day 1 we were impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. Dennis and Mike went above and beyond in keeping us in loop, working with our schedules, and finishing the project right on time. It’s rare to have the owner of a big company visit a site more than once or twice. Mike Wolff was onsite every day checking progress and ensuring work was to our satisfaction. We also learned how this company helped with cleaning up after Sonoma fires And tons of other volunteer work they do for community. It’s rare to find people who are committed to communities.

This past winter our house was damaged due to high winds and heavy rains. We found Wolff Contracting online and called to have them come out and assess our situation. Even with the unusually high volume of calls due to the storms, they were able to come out the next day to look at our house. They immediately started working with us and our insurance company directly so that we could get the repair work started as we were expecting even more storms. Our insurance company sent an adjuster who determined that our policy did not cover the type of damage from the storms so we had to pay out of our own pocket. Upon completion of the repairs to our home, Wolff Contracting went above and beyond their duties. They wrote letters on our behalf to our insurance company detailing the damage and its causes as well as their professional opinions to see if there could be any compensation for their work. It worked and we received almost full compensation. Not only was the repair work to our house exceptional, but the extra time and effort on Wolff Contracting's part meant that the cost to us was minimal. I would recommend them for their quality of work and their willingness to go the extra mile for us, thank you very much.
