I would very much recommend Serrano Construction to anyone. Rod and his team were a pleasure to work with. Very professional and always doing what they can to provide us whatever we wanted. Any idea we had, Rod said he could figure it out. Rod always checked in to make sure we were happy with every choice we made. The quality of work was great, every part looked fantastic. The custom cabinetry and shower drain were some of my favorites.

Just finished a Kitchen Remodel over the holidays and wanted to share the amazing work and give credit to the guys who made it happen.

We started out with a darker kitchen which was chosen when our boys were 4 and 6 years old to “hide” the inevitable stains, scratches, dents, etc. you might get with young children. We also felt that the granite that the builder provided was too busy and again, dark for what we envisioned. In addition to brightening up our kitchen, we wanted to increase counter space and felt that we needed to open up our space by removing the overhead microwave.

Fast forward to today and we have a kitchen that is bright, large, and truly inviting and comfortable to sit and work in.

Rod and his team went above and beyond to deliver us a beautiful kitchen in a very timely manner!

Highlighted upgrades:

- [ ] Quartz counters with waterfall on island
- [ ] Pop up outlet on island to preserve the facade of the waterfall. This also increased the number of outlets to 3 with 2 USB outlets as well as wireless charging for our phones.
- [ ] Re-painted our cabinets from dark brown to pure white. We used the conversion varnish which is life-changing.
- [ ] Conversion to soft close cabinets.
- [ ] Glass tile backsplash
- [ ] New pendant lights, sink, faucet, cooktop, hood, and drawer style microwave.

Rod, owner of Serrano Construction, recently remodeled my 1939 house. We began with bathroom remodel and ended up upgrading the entire house. For context, we tore out our bathroom, replaced tub with a walk in shower, took kitchen down to studs and upgraded wiring, removed soffits, added custom cabinets, and appliances. We replaced and refinished hardwood floors throughout, replaced windows, added crown molding and painted throughout. Rod was easy to work with, responded timely and patiently to all my annoying questions, and finished the job on time. He’s very knowledgeable about all aspects of home building and has great solutions to the tricky problems old homes present. I highly recommend Serrano Construction and regularly refer people to them.
