Grant Jean is a fantastic contractor. He renovated our downstairs bedroom, den, and bathroom. Before starting the project Grant wrote a meticulous statement of work and associated estimates. The project started on time and he consulted with us throughout to accommodate changes and design elements. The project scope expanded a bit (as they usually do) but he finished quickly without compromising on quality. We were happy with the final finish and look of the place.

Grant is a talented, pleasant, and flexible person to work with. I would highly recommend him.

Just an overall great experience with Grant and his team for initially planning and executing our full earthquake retrofit project. It was certainly more involved than I thought it would be but Grant was there to walk me through the entire process including permitting and submission of paperwork for a grant that helped offset some of the costs. They were also prompt and very communicative, you always knew what was happening each day and how that impacted you, especially important as my wife and I work from home almost everyday of the week. The finished product leaves us feeling safer about our home and resulted in much cheaper earthquake insurance policy with the retrofit discount. I was so impressed by Grant’s overall work that I hired him on again for two more side projects for my house and had him consult on another with a rental property. All in all, I can’t say enough about the work Grant did for us, just a genuine professional and overall, a great guy.

Grant is a great contractor because he delivers on time and within budget. He worked with our architect to build custom shelves with lights and resolved the small issues that come as a result of custom design. I highly recommend Jean Design Build and will use them again!

Grant had great attention to detail, and his work is top-notch. If you are considering a bathroom remodel or any remodel work in general I would highly suggest going with this company, pricing is fair, and quality of work is beyond great, will be using them again in the future
