I had the pleasure of hiring Rockwood Homes to do my hallway bathroom remodeling and it was such a great experience. Alan Rockwood is one of the kindest contractors I have ever worked with. I had a spa tub that I wanted to replace with a walk-in shower and new custom vanity cabinet and new tiles and paint. The bathroom turned out beautiful and modern.
Alan made the whole process so enjoyable as having any type of remodeling work on your house is never an easy thing to go through, but Alan and his crew were very respectful and they work very hard. He always updated me what to expect each day on the progress and he came by daily to check on the work. I was more than happy with their work that I had them do some updates to my master bathroom as well as I was getting ready to move out of state for a job transfer. I plan to do a full master bath remodel in the future with Rockwood when I move back to CA.
I highly recommend them and feel very blessed to have known Alan and the whole Rockwood team.

A friend of ours recommended Rockwood Homes for an ADU project. Alan was responsive and assisted us with the entire process in a professional manner. He was quick to respond to our concerns, and was kept us informed during the entire process. There were times when delays occurred, however, he was informative for the reasoning and was responsive.

The main reason for my recommendation is that Alan and his crew do great work. They paid attention to detail, and ensured that the work completed was of high quality. He is open with his recommendations and the work that would be needed for a project.

I have other work that I am considering doing on my home and Alan and Rockwood Homes is definitely who I will be using in the future.

Rockwood Homes has done multiple projects for us in Long Beach. Alan is very honest and has a high level of expertise. Not only did he do a great job on our kitchen remodel he also bailed us out from a bad experience with another contractor (who was recommended by a friend). Alan came in and redid the inferior below standard work and was very fair when it came to price.

We are looking at another project and will definitely work with Alan again. He is easy to work with and offers up ideas to make your finished work even better than we first imagined.

I can tell you from experience that there are some unprofessional contractors out there doing business and fortunately for us Alan is one of the excellent ones. Would strongly recommend his company.

We had an amazing experience with Rockwood Homes. We worked directly with Alan. Complete remodel of kitchen and bathroom...we started from the ground up...literally. Alan has top notch trades people (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile, etc). And Alan has such integrity and always went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work. We will work with him again.

Highly recommend Alan to anyone that needs a General Contractor to manage all details of a construction project. He is honest, reliable and very knowledgeable.
