Honesty, Sincerity and Quality is the best way I can characterize JN Engineering. We had to retrofit our building in West Los Angeles. Nabil Mallak, structural engineer from JN came highly recommended to us by other satisfied customers. He helped us navigate the bureaucratic red tape of getting permits, approvals, inspections done in the most convenient fashion. He was very accommodating to us despite how cost conscious we were. The scope of the project had expanded beyond our initial expectations due to termite damage. This required more beam reinforcements and removing some of the prior beams that had the damage. He was very understanding and sympathetic to our needs and made huge concessions to accommodate us without compromising the quality of work. Despite the additional demands on his time, JN Engineering was still able to complete the work in a timely fashion at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend JN Engineering and would love to share with you our experience with them.

We have been using JN Engineering for all of our engineering needs for the past 12 years. Joseph and his entire staff have always been very professional and extremely thorough and diligent with all of our engineering projects. I would not trust using any other company but JN Engineering for our projects.

OK first off let me say that Joseph is not only competent and highly professional but a great guy. I met him when I had a potential building code violation on one of my restaurants. It was absolute nonsense from the get go. However, the city had told me to close down until I could resolve the "structural problem with the roofing system". A neighbor who didn't like my business being there reported me and had influence over someone. I was in a word desperate. Joseph dropped what he was doing, came out looked at the issue (which he agreed with me was ridiculous). Ran calculations that evening. Drew up the calculations and a quick brief study which I took to the building department the next day. After about 40 minutes with the supervisor they realized the error on the part of the inspector and we re opened the next day. Now over 10 years later I think, there are no issues and all is well. Just the same way there were no issues for the last 40 years or so the building had been in existence. Joseph saved me...!

Most engineers are highly reticent to step into someone else's problem, let alone sign off on a condition that existed before they were on the project at all. I honestly don't know how I found Joseph but it was blind luck. He is honest, reliable and best of all affordable. He only charged me about $1,000 dollars for what I described above. I was a stranger to him and he literally saved me thousands of dollars and several employees their livelihoods. The least I can do is to take my time and share what a wonderful thing this was to do.

I have used him over the years now a few times for projects and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. You will not be disappointed
