We love our new custom Cornerstone home!

Cornerstone has been great to work with - Matt, Tim, and Jordan are awesome, and all the contractors we interacted with were friendly and helpful as well.

We broke ground in October and moved in at the end of March, and we were right on budget. The few times we had concerns during the building process, Cornerstone was quick to get things fixed (often within a day or two of texting/calling them). Even after we’ve moved in, Cornerstone has continued to be on top of things and have been eager to quickly resolve the very few minor issues we‘ve noticed. Every day living in our new home we continue to be impressed and love how everything turned out.

We highly recommend Cornerstone for anyone wanting to build in/around Abilene. They do great work, and are great people to work with!

Can't say enough good things about Cornerstone! They have been outstanding to work with every step of the way. No cookie-cutter floor plans here -- Cornerstone let us pick whatever design my wife wanted, then reconfigured it to make it fit on our lot. As we progressed, they were more than open to our little design changes along the way during construction, and they even suggested a few of their own. You can tell that Matt and Tim really care about pleasing the customer and making it look fantastic. If something wasn't how we wanted it, they made sure it was redone until it was done right. Unfortunately for us, it just so happened that we built at a time when supply chain costs went through the roof, which made our house about $50K more than we initially expected, but Cornerstone graciously offered to subtract a little bit from their fees to ease some of our financial pain. Not many builders would do that, I imagine. The main complaint I heard about Cornerstone before we built with them centered around service after the move-in date, but they have recently hired Jordan to be in charge of warranty claims, and at this point our 90-day list of items to be fixed has almost been completely taken care of. We've been in the house about 6 months now, and it feels like home, even though to me it almost seems too nice for us! I said when we moved in that it felt like a vacation home that we'd have to check out of after a few days, but it's ours, and we love it! Thanks, Cornerstone!

Matt, Tim, and Jordan were incredible to work with during this process. They were so intentional with us and helped us envision our dream home. They sat down with us personally and made sure we were able to not only stay within budget but helped us get the best bang for our buck. They were always available when we had questions or concerns. Jordan’s eye for detail and her creativity is astounding. Matt was so creative and had great ideas that helped us shape our home. Tim helped guide us through our budget and showed us the important areas to prioritize spending. Overall, they treated us like family and we feel so blessed to have worked with them and look forward to working with them again someday. Highly recommend!

My experience in building our home with Matt and Tim at Cornerstone Custom Homes has been OUTSTANDING! I felt seen and heard throughout the entire process. Everything that I had imagined our house to be, actually is! It is beautiful and as we watched each step being completed, we know that it is a quality product. We throughly enjoyed the workers also. The brick layers, the trim crew, the plumbers, the tile/floor crew, the electrical crew, and the landscaper were just outstanding and a joy to meet. Each of these crews were so pleasant and accommodated every request. Matt and Tim were available anytime we called them and always assured us that we could contact them whenever we needed. Not only were they available, but they were diligent in keeping us "in the loop" and on schedule.
