Had a fantastic experience! Zack was super easy to communicate with and was very accommodating with time. It was a small-medium ish renovation project and he was incredibly thorough, explaining the plans and processes clearly upfront before demo work. The job was done exceptionally well (especially given some hidden challenges arising from the home builder). Highly recommend!

Zack and his work are awesome! He was super helpful to someone like me, who doesn't know anything about construction. He was clear about why something needed to be done and fair and transparent about the pricing. He gently suggested work that should be done and was clear about work that we didn't need to do right now - all very helpful to know! The deck and new door and siding turned out beautifully! Zack is an extraordinary GC with high quality standards and deep attention to detail. Definition of a perfectionist. We had a sewer gas issue in a new home that required ripping up walls and ceilings to diagnose and rectify. Zack was incredibly thoughtful in laying down protection, opening up the drywall, working with the plumbing team to identify and fix the issue, and then immaculately putting it all back together again (including bringing in a fantastic paint crew). Communication on the project was consistent and exceptional. I always knew where things stood. Additionally, Zack was considerate about our experience living at home during the project; flexible on start and finish, and made the rooms under construction livable when there wasn’t work being done. This project was a huge bummer until Zack showed up; but honestly, now the home looks better than it did before. Honored to be a client of Zack’s.

ZWI helped us when help was needed most. Our upstairs balcony was is need of repair and our home was going on the market in Scotts Valley within four weeks. His third generation design and contractor skills went into action. What we liked most was his diagnostic skills, looking us in the eye every day as he peeled away the issues and what needed to be done, and the skills of the entire team in demolition, rebuild, waterproofing, stucco, drywall, and perfect texture and paint match. On time and on budget.
