We visited our new home with our friends and we met our new neighbor, Everr Lee Ford! Nice lady who has the distinction of being the very first resident of our new community.

The drywall is up and fire-taped, the roof has tiles, and the workers are applying stucco to the outside. Keeping our fingers crossed ? for a January completion!

Before purchasing we were assured that family and grandchildren could use the pool as long as we were with them. NO RESTRICTIONS unless they were holding an event. Once we moved in they have very restricted hours for children under 18. On many days there is next to no one using the amenities yet they refuse to lift the restricted hours. Make sure you see the CCR’s- Bylaws, and clubhouse rules before you purchase. We asked several times and were told you had to be a homeowner to receive them ?

We Visited K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Homestead in Dixon, CA
a few weeks ago. Really liked the models. The Sales Rep...not so much. She appeared to be somewhat vague when it came to questions regarding price and interest rates.

She made it appear that options and solar were no problem cost wise. After reading a particular review online regarding deposits and the return of those deposits, if problems arise such as interest rates and homes prices not working out, and the cost of solar becoming an issue...well, now we’re not so sure about K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Homestead in Dixon, CA.

We'll keep checking to see if these sales reps come to their senses on how they deal with Senior Citizens.

Baby Boomers are always on the internet sharing good and bad actions regarding Seniors.

It's very completive out there in the new homes 55 and over industry. They should do right by their potential customers. Hopefully they'll keep good standing with their customers going forward, because it could work out favorably for both parties in the future.

The ball is in their court. Hope they do the right thing because we would still consider K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Homestead in Dixon, CA if they prove to be reputable.

We have been watching this development since before opening. We have been to the office twice. The model we are interested in is not available now. No problem, we can wait, in fact we are ready to commit, however, the answer was NO. We were told that all the lots have been planned and approved by the city. So they already know what models are to be built on which lots. We have identified several lots with the model we want but was turned away because they have yet to be "released." For all of our effort to be early so that we can get just what we want, we are told to wait on the sideline with everyone else and if we are lucky, then, maybe. They are not willing to allow us to hold the lot we want. Most disappointing.
