We were lucky to find 911 Restoration to take care of a major basement clean-out following flooding and sewage back-up. We called the company on a Saturday morning and, within a couple of hours, they came out to check out the damage and provide an estimate. All throughout the clean-up process, Jeremy patiently and professionally handled interactions with the homeowner and even took the time to find a few specific sentimental items within the thousands of things he carried up. He also answered any and all questions she had along the way. I was impressed that, for items that needed removal but weren’t damaged by the flood water, such as clothing, he and his wife washed them and brought them to a donation center. It was about 7-day project in total and we are so thankful to Jeremy and 911 Restoration for making the basement a clean and safe place to be again.

In July we had a water pipe fail in the third floor mechanical room, of our 1869 historic commercial building. The water ran for potentially 36 hours. It heavily saturated the plaster and lathe walls and ceilings, buckled the original 1 1/2 flooring, turned a front antique stairwell into a waterfall, risking not only catastrophic damage to this lovingly preserved architectural structure, but also loss of small business.

911 Restoration of Oshkosh had equipment on scene with in 15 minutes, navigated to the source and rest of the building with out us present and immediately began the recovery process. They rapidly mitigated the damage to ensure first floor small business were able to continue being open. This company saved the hard wood flooring entirely, the plaster and lathe with minimal damage, all the while the pumping air into and moisture out of ceiling and wall cavities. They recognized the importance of preserving any wood trims necessary to be removed. They worked in extreme heat conditions during the hottest period of the month with out ac, often exceeding 110 degrees. They addressed mold development quickly and effectively.

So impressed by what they were able to accomplish. However, what impressed us the most, was the fact that without their knowledge they were under hidden recorded security observation in an environment that is filled with art, antiques and our most personal possessions. I reviewed in real time and all recorded. They were completely trust worthy. They remained unbelievably focused on their task, with one exception. Unasked, they watered our plants to keep them alive. I have zero reservations recommending 911 Restoration of Oshkosh.

We unexpectedly had to use 911 restoration last month after discovering water dripping from the hallway light upstairs. Jeremy and his assistant came out that same week to take a look at everything. Turns out we had a lot more water than we initially thought. Jeremy even got on our roof to take a look and let us know his initial thoughts on that. The whole project took just about a week. They were thorough with letting both my husband and I know what was going on and Jeremy was easy to get ahold of in the evenings if any questions came up after they left. They left our house very clean, as if they were never here! His assistant even got down on all fours to vacuum our kitchen where they weren’t even doing the work! We are extremely grateful for 911 restoration and then work they did for us! Highly recommend!

Jeremy and his crew came from Wisconsin to central Iowa to help with a lot of frozen plumbing during a cold snap around Christmas 2022.
