First, I want to make it clear I rarely write reviews. It's one of those tasks that always falls to the bottom of the to-do list. But this is different because 3rd Gen is different. If 3rd Gen asked me to shout from the rooftops about how absolutely fantastic this company is, I would do it in a heartbeat. I've hired 3rd Gen for multiple interior remodeling and exterior painting projects over the years, and the team completely nails it every time. Matt, Brian, Alex and "the boys" deliver superior craftsmanship, reliable timelines and honest, fair pricing. On top of that, they're just really great people to have around. They really care about the work. They really care about their customers. It shows in everything they do. I'm sure there are other good companies out there, but it's rare to come across one that makes you think, "Yep, I'm their customer for life." That's exactly what I think about 3rd Gen. So if you're looking for a remodeling, exterior painting or deck building company, just save yourself the hassle and hire 3rd Gen. And if Matt, Brian, Alex or anyone else at 3rd Gen is reading this, thank you. It's always an absolute pleasure working with you. Seriously, I'm really looking forward to the next 3rd Gen project at my house. Our experience with 3rd Gen was great. We got a few quotes to rebuild our deck, and they were both competitive and great to work with. The crew: Watou, Jarret and Carlos were friendly and professional. They did a great job on the build and cleanup after.

About a month after the project was finished I noticed one of the railings had pulled away from the deck surface and was loose/tilted. I let Autumn, the production manager, know who came over and fixed it up the same day.

Would definitely use 3rd Gen again in the future.

Thanks to 3rd Generation for a great job! They took down our old cruddy deck and screened in porch. Then they rebuilt it . We love our new deck space, the wired railing, the built in water drainage and the no maintenance flooring. The screened in porch is very spacious and comfortable. We are happy with the results.

Autumn Lyons was a wonderful project manager. She kept communication lines open. Ryan, the lead carpenter was very skillful and good with working with his crew. We particularly liked getting to know him and Chase. They were neat and orderly, worked well together and worked very hard. They were very efficient both in the deconstruction and the reconstruction. We are sure we will enjoy the deck and porch for many years to come.

We had our existing deck replaced and screened porch refurbished with new cedar holdings, kick wall sills and Eze screen panel system as well as a new screen door. We are very satisfied and happy with the resulting improvements.

The entire 3rd Gen team, including Autumn and Angel’s crew, were extremely diligent, hard working and attentive to our needs as well as good at problem solving.

We hired 3rd Gen to paint our house. They hooked us up with a color consultant and paid for an hour of her time, they kept us informed of plans to be on-site, and did a great paint job. They didn't bill us until they checked for flaws and fixed them. We're very happy with the results.
