Unfortunately, my experience with 2nd life has been very disappointing. They did a bathroom remodel for me and at first it seemed like all was well, but we quickly learned that the labor was done poorly. As water damage began from both sides of the shower and from our new sink as well, I was met with excuses. My last interaction regarding the poor work we received, I was told that the work being done right was like winning the lottery. I was very disappointed to learn I had bought an extremely expensive lottery ticket that seemingly my numbers didn't match. I was then offered to have the bathroom requoted to redo the incorrectly done shower as it was not covered by their warranty.

We are very happy with 2nd Life, they remodeled our main bathroom and updated our kitchen counters. The team of Zach and Michael were very professional, always on time, did excellent work and communicated very well with us. The picture shows the shower remodel that they did for us. We will use them again for another upcoming project.

It went really well! And I am SO happy with my new bathroom. They tore down the walls around the bathtub and put in new cement board, tile, and a glass block window. Installed new faucets in the tub and new vanity, electrical and medicine cabinet.
The communication through the project was excellent, whenever there was a slight hiccup it was addressed immediately. And there were a few additional things that had to be adjusted after the completion of the project and they sent someone right away to deal with it. The workmanship was very good and I will definitely be hiring them for additional projects!

We are really pleased with the kitchen remodel completed by 2nd Life. We had a desire to better utilize the kitchen/dining space and they did a great job on providing design options. The remodel was a big change with the removal of a wall, soffits, and complexities of varying floor heights. They did great with both the work they did and subcontracting to a very skilled electrician and plumbing group.

This is our third remodel with 2nd Life, and we wouldn’t hesitate to do another project with them.

2nd Life Home repair Was great to work with. Although we did not go with their service because we ended up not doing the project because my family relocated, Tim was awesome to work with. He came by multiple times to look at what we wanted to do, and he spent the time to share his knowledge on the type of project we were doing. He was able to provide us with information he had based on projects he had done for house in the area as far as things that may need to be done to bring the room up to code based on our house being 100 years old. The quote They gave us was very reasonable, and we were ready to pull the trigger, but we ended up selling the house as it was. When I talked to him about just doing part of the project, he was able to quickly write up a quote and let me know when they could do it.

They were great to work with and very responsive and quick.

We used 2nd Life for a basement remodeling project. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and the online system they use to track project updates is the best I've used. Communication especially through challenging scheduling issues caused by COVID was extremely important, and it's an area where many contractors struggle. They were flexible, able to adjust to a few change requests without trouble, and their pricing is quite competitive. We were very happy with the quality of the work, and we hope to use them again in a future project.
